The mid-1970's saw the rise of the Marvel Superheroes on the TV screens. Colorforms took advantage of this development, producing games devoted to both The Incredible Hulk (1978 - game #634) and The Amazing Spider-Man (1974 - game #591). This offering represents the materials used to produce and promote both products. The Incredible Hulk includes: concept artworks for the cover, the platform, and the vinyl pieces (all assembled as a complete presentation mockup for use at that year's Toy Fair display); bklt. mech. and cover mech., both w/hand-colored tis. ov.; three full sets of all seven prog.'s, each with the cover, the platform, and the bklt. on the same sheet (21 proofs in all); final proof containing all three; and a NM game. The Amazing Spider-Man game includes: concept mockup of a complete game, done for Toy Fair preview (with an unused cover design); separate mech.'s of cover and side panels, both w/tis. ov.'s; lam. prf. of cover; all four col. trans. for cover; final proof of cover; and a NM game.
