We all got our first good look at Robin Williams' free-flowing style of improv with his first guest spot on Happy Days. There too he played Mork, the visiting alien from the planet Ork, and that one zany performance landed him a starring role in the very popular 1978 spin-off series, Mork and Mindy. Colorforms released these two sets during the early days of the show's four-season run. Contents from the standard Mork and Mindy set (#642): original platform art of Mindy's apartment (W/C - 13-1/2" x 9") and bklt. art (ink - 15" x 6-1/2", w/six pl. ov.); mech.'s for cover (with hand-drawn outline showing photo image placement) and bklt.; small color photo transparency for cover image of characters; lam. prf. of cover; two sets of 15 prog.'s containing all three components on one sheet; mockup of cover (copy of photo with cut-out lettering - sidepanels are flattened from storage; and a sample game with Mint contents in an EX/MT box (velcro tabs attached to back for wall display in showroom). Contents for the Mork and Mindy Rub 'n Play set (#943): original cover art (W/C - 10" x 11", w/pl. ov. containing stats and a tis. ov. on top of it all) and "Magic Transfers" art (W/C - 23" x 12-1/2", w/tis. ov. containing ed. not.); mech.'s for the cover, the "Magic Transfers" sheet, and the punch-out figures (w/tis. ov.); plus roughly 35 prog.'s, lam. prf.'s and regular proofs (some w/ed. not.) and NM game.
