The movie Gremlins was a huge box-office hit in 1984, and Colorforms used the theme to launch two successful playsets. The standard set was given the set designator #672, while the larger "Deluxe" version was named as set #2368. Both possess really outstanding artworks, done in bright Dr. Martin's dyes and richly dark india inks. Even the instruction sheet artworks are exceptional for these. The small set contains: original Platform art (12-1/2" x 8", w/pl. ov.) and Instruction Sheet art (12-1/2" x 8"); mech.'s for Cover (large outlined area to indicate placement of the "Stripe" inset art) and Instruction Sheet (includes the mech. for the large set's Inst, as well); lam. prf.'s containing both games Instruction Sheets (two - one is an unmarked Final, the other has ed. not.); and a NM sample game. The large Deluxe set contains: original Cover art (20" x 14-1/2"), Platform art (16" x 13"); Inset art of "Stripe" (7" x 6"), and the Instruction Sheet art (13" x 8"); mech. for Cover (w/color trans. ov.); lam. prf.'s of the Cover (w/ed. not.); and a NM sample game.
