Half of the production pieces being offered here are from the second Mary Poppins set by Colorforms, released years after the original movie's first success in 1964. The balance of the included pieces are from the Bedknobs and Broomsticks set, issued at the time of that film's first release, circa 1971. Both of these popular Disney pictures used animated characters that interacted with more human, but just as fanciful, English magic users. These imaginative characters made for wonderful play, "the Colorforms way." Contents for the Mary Poppins set (#585): original cover art w/sidepanel logos (W/C - 12" x 17"), platform art (W/C - 11" x 15"), and bklt. art (23" x 5-1/2"); mech.'s for cover and bklt.; color transparencies for cover, platform and bklt. (four of each); lam. prf. for cover; prog.'s for cover, platform and bklt. (10 of each, plus a final proof of each that has ed. not.); and a final proof with all three components on one sheet. Contents for the Bedknobs and Broomsticks set (#580): original cover art (lam. col. - 11" x 17"), platform art (lam. col. - 18" x 12"), bklt.
