These Yankee short-stinters are extremely difficult to locate in Type I format. The majority played only 1 year—sometimes just pitching a couple innings or recording a mere handful of official at-bats. In many cases, the subjects are minor leaguers who never made the big league roster but were captured in Yankee threads during spring training. A few feature established players and Hall of Famers for whom finding any Yankee uniform image—let alone a Type I—is nearly impossible, such as Joe Medwick, Paul Waner and Robin Roberts. Other names include Singleton, Reis, Newsom, Moore, Kennedy, Kay, Holmes, Hendrickson, Haley, Blair, Graham, Hershberger, Koy, Barley, Baker and Lewis. All are Type I.
