Bob Feller 1983 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Multi Signed Ball (25 Signatures) Including DiMaggio and Koufax

As a regular attendee of the annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Bob Feller fraternized with his fellow alums, greeted each new enshrinement class, posed for photos, and autographed baseballs to mark the occasion. Afterwards, he always received one (or two, if divided according to league) of those multi-signed balls by mail, direct from Cooperstown, for his personal collection. Thus, the orbs offered in this auction section include most HOFers present at each induction ceremony, and they are accompanied by their original mailing boxes addressed to Feller himself.

The 1983 induction ceremony saw the largest crowd of spectators since the inaugural event in 1939. Class of '83 members featured Juan Marichal, Brooks Robinson and George Kell. This white, unused ONL (Feeney) ball includes 25 ballpoint signatures rating "9-10" in strength: Appling, Bell, Chandler (secretarial), Cronin, Dickey, DiMaggio, Feller, Gehringer (s/s), Grimes, Herman, Irvin (s/s), J.
