The emergence of the fantastic archives of Colorforms has produced a rare opportunity for collectors of toys, pop culture and fans of popular characters of the second half of the 20th Century. After taking an exhaustive inventory of the thousands of games that were included in the collection, it was discovered that there were a total of 411 different games that ranged in production date from the mid-1950's to the early 1990's. The number of examples ranged from a minimum of 1 to over 100. This collection consists of one of each game that comprised the remnants of the original Colorforms Company. The only games that are not included in this humongous group are those with a single population that were more appropriately included in the particular catalog entry offering the original production portfolio for that game. Major subjects include: Popeye, Peanuts characters, Sesame Street themes, Mickey Mouse, a host of Disney animated movie themes such as Cinderella, Snow White, Pinocchio, Lion King, Aladdin, Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, Winnie the Pooh and Aristocats, dozens of TV show themes such as A-Team, Charlie's Angels, Chips, Little House on the prairie, Battlestar Gallactica, and Mork and Mindy, Barbie, Raggedy Ann, Holly Hobbie, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Star Trek, Simpsons, Betty Boop, Captain Kangaroo, Bozo, Dick Tracy, GI Joe, ET, Hulk, King Kong and hundreds more. The full list may be found on our Internet auction site. The condition of the games averages between EX/MT and NM. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a major collection of one of the most popular game series ever produced.
